Royal Challengers Bengaluru vice-captain Jitesh Sharma applauded Rasikh Salam Dar for his dedication and determination following an outstanding bowling performance against Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026.

Rasikh played a major role in RCB’s victory at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, delivering his best IPL figures of 4 wickets for 24 runs. His brilliant spell put Lucknow under pressure early, as he dismissed key batters including Aiden Markram, Ayush Badoni, Mukul Choudhary, and Avesh Khan.

Speaking after the game, Jitesh said Rasikh always possessed strong bowling skills, but has now learned how to use them more effectively. He credited the positive environment in the RCB camp, along with quality coaching and guidance, for helping the young pacer unlock his full potential.

Jitesh also recalled playing domestic cricket with Rasikh for Baroda, where he noticed the youngster’s commitment to improving his yorkers and slower deliveries. According to him, Rasikh trained with high intensity during the off-season so that his skills would become second nature during pressure situations in the IPL.

RCB’s bowling unit has looked sharp this season, with Rasikh’s emergence adding more strength alongside experienced names like Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. His recent performance has further highlighted the team’s growing depth in the pace department.

With consistent performances and a fearless approach, Royal Challengers Bengaluru continue to build momentum in IPL 2026, and Rasikh Salam Dar’s rise could become one of the season’s biggest success stories.
